About Arizona Raiders Youth Football

Arizona Raiders Youth Football is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing young athletes with opportunities to develop teamwork, leadership, discipline, and confidence through competitive football and community involvement. We are seeking an experienced WordPress professional to help us build a polished, professional website that will serve as the organization's primary online presence.

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced WordPress Website Developer to complete a one-time website project. This is ideal for someone who enjoys using their skills to support youth programs and wants to make a meaningful impact through volunteer service.

This is a project-based opportunity rather than an ongoing volunteer role. Once the website is completed, there may be opportunities to discuss additional volunteer positions within the organization if there is mutual interest.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a modern, mobile-friendly WordPress website.
• Create a clean, professional user experience.
• Configure navigation and page layouts.
• Develop registration and notification signup pages.
• Integrate contact forms and email marketing tools such as Constant Contact.
• Optimize the site for speed, security, and SEO best practices.
• Train a team member on basic website updates before project completion.

Qualifications

• Advanced experience with WordPress development.
• Strong knowledge of responsive web design and UX/UI.
• Experience with forms, plugins, and third-party integrations.
• Ability to work independently and complete the project within an agreed-upon timeline.
• Portfolio of previous WordPress websites required.

Project Goal

Develop and launch a professional website that supports player registrations, volunteer recruitment, sponsorship opportunities, league information, and communication with families.

Commitment

• One-time volunteer project.

• Estimated commitment: 20–40 hours depending on experience.
