Volunteer with Soldiers’ Angels - Bring Comfort to Veterans at VA Lake Nona!
Join Soldiers’ Angels in making a real difference in the lives of veterans receiving care at VA Lake Nona. We’re looking for caring volunteers to assist with patient visits and the distribution of comfort items.
When: Date TBD with VA - weekdays
Time: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Location: VA Lake Nona, 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando, FL 32827
What You’ll Do:
- 8:00 AM: Check-in at the CDCE Voluntary Service Office
- 8:00-9:00 AM: Prep and sort donated comfort items
- 9:00-1:00 PM: Visit patients and distribute items
Volunteers serving more than 4 hours will receive a meal ticket!
Wear comfy clothes and shoes-you’ll be moving a lot!
Your presence offers companionship and kindness to veterans who need it most. Let’s honor their service by showing up for them.
