Descripción
We are seeking a motivated, charismatic, and organized Remote Podcast Host & Producer Intern to help launch and grow Apex Workforce & Talent Foundation’s official Spotify show (working title: Superhero HR).
This internship offers hands-on experience in podcast production, guest relations, content strategy, and cross-departmental collaboration. You will play a key role in amplifying Apex’s mission of “Making Superheroes Every Day” by creating compelling audio content that highlights HR leadership, talent development, and transformative workplace stories.
Key Responsibilities
- Host & Interview special guests remotely (HR leaders, executives, Academy alumni, municipal partners, and industry experts).
- Secure Guests: Research, outreach, and schedule high-quality interviewees aligned with Apex values and show themes.
- Produce Episodes: Assist with pre-production (scripts, questions, research), recording (remote via Zoom/Google Meet), and basic post-production coordination.
- Coordinate with SCM Department: Work closely on PR, social media branding, visual assets, newsletter content, and promotional campaigns for each episode.
- Internal Communications: Draft and send announcements to all Apex personnel about upcoming episodes, guest features, and opportunities.
- Content Support: Help develop episode outlines, show notes, promotional copy, and listener engagement strategies.
- Academy Learning Objectives: Participate in structured reflection, skill-building workshops, and performance reviews as part of the Apex Talent Initiative Academy.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong verbal communication and on-camera/mic presence (warm, professional, empowering tone).
- Excellent writing and research skills.
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Meet, Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and basic audio tools is a plus.
- Passion for HR, leadership development, workforce transformation, or non-profit impact.
- Current student or recent graduate preferred, but highly motivated candidates with relevant experience are welcome.
