Ready Rochester is looking for a volunteer to help build awareness through social media and online community channels.
This role may include creating posts for Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, and other local platforms; promoting upcoming trainings; sharing preparedness tips; creating recap content after events; and helping community members learn how to get involved.
The ideal volunteer is a strong communicator who can make preparedness feel approachable, useful, and community-focused.
Helpful skills: Social media, Canva or basic design tools, caption writing, community management, local outreach, content planning.
