Flourish Furniture Bank is Kansas City’s only furniture bank, serving families and individuals across Kansas and Missouri. Our 49,000-square-foot warehouse and showroom in Grandview, Missouri, is filled with furniture and household goods generously donated by local businesses and residents. We upcycle these items, transforming them into essential resources for our neighbors in need. Through a personalized and supportive shopping experience, we empower guests to choose the furnishings that best fit their needs and preferences, completely free of charge.

Guest Hospitality Volunteer Responsibilities:

As a member of the Guest Hospitality Team, you’ll be a warm and welcoming presence for all who visit Flourish. Your key responsibilities include guiding guests through our facility, assisting the dock team by directing families and visitors, and helping intake donations as they arrive. This people-focused position is perfect for those who enjoy connecting with others and making everyone feel at home. Importantly, this role does not require any lifting, just a friendly attitude and a willingness to help. Your support ensures a smooth, positive experience for our guests and helps the entire operation run seamlessly.
