Volunteer Video Editor / Visual Storyteller

Our nonprofit organization is seeking a creative volunteer video editor to help produce a short awareness video for National Immunization Awareness Month in August.

We have completed voice-over recordings and are looking for someone who can develop the visual side of the project. The ideal volunteer will be able to listen to the narration, identify imagery and video footage that support the message, and edit everything into a polished, engaging final product.

Responsibilities:

• Review the provided voice-over narration
• Develop a visual concept that complements the message
• Source appropriate stock footage, photos, graphics, and other visual elements
• Edit and synchronize visuals with the narration
• Add titles, transitions, and simple motion graphics as needed
• Create and incorporate accurate closed captions
• Deliver finished videos suitable for online and social media distribution

Qualifications:

• Experience with video editing and visual storytelling
• Ability to match visuals to a script or voice-over
• Familiarity with sourcing royalty-free footage and images
• Experience creating accessible video content, including captions
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Project Details:

• Volunteer position
• Video length: approximately 90 seconds
• Voice-over recordings will be provided in English, Spanish, and French
• Final videos should include closed captions
• Final project needed by the third week of July
• Video will be used as part of a public awareness campaign for National Immunization Awareness Month
