Our current calendar of cultural, educational, and community programming includes author talks in April and May, a chocolate tasting and garden tour in May, and a concert and graphic novel workshop, as well as elementary school visits, in June. If you're in/near Milton, MA, that's great (but not necessary.) Previous experience in a museum, heritage, or cultural setting is helpful, but not essential. For those interested in serving as a museum floor monitor or tour guide, training will be provided.
Inspired by the Forbes family legacy of entrepreneurship, social action and philanthropy, the Forbes House Museum fosters discourse around civic engagement and cultural awareness. Built in 1833, the Greek Revival home at 215 Adams Street in Milton has been a house museum since 1964 and a National Historic Landmark since 1966.
