VOLUNTEER RECEPTIONIST OPPORTUNITY

Legacy Hospice and Palliative Care is seeking a dedicated volunteer receptionist to join our team. This role involves answering telephone inquiries, welcoming guests, and directing visitors to the appropriate departments.

Hospice volunteers are an integral part of the Hospice Care Model. In accordance with guidelines set by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), volunteer hours must constitute at least 5% of the total patient care hours delivered by paid staff. This requirement ensures that volunteers play a significant and quantifiable role in our services, directly complementing the efforts of our professional team.
