Description
The Sonoma County Tool Library (SCTL) is a FREE tool lending library for residents of Sonoma County.WE are entirely volunteer-run and have been helping neighbors maintain homes, reduce waste, and prepare for fire season since 2006. Our inventory includes 1000+ tools which can be searched, viewed and reserved online.
We believe in neighbors helping neighbors, sharing resources and fostering sustainability.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We are currently looking for volunteers to help out with tool circulation during our open hours on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Responsibilities:
Tool Circulation Volunteers work the front desk. They help registered borrowers check tools in and out of the library, gather and re-shelve tools. and provide information about the tool library. No experience is needed and training on the library software and procedures will be provided.
Whether you are a novice or and DIY expert, we welcome you to join our team . We encourage those with technical skills and knowledge to share their experience and volunteer with us.
Shifts:
Wednesdays 4:45--7:00pm
Saturdays 8:30-11:30 and 11:30-2:00

¿Cómo llegar?
The Sonoma County Tool Library is located at 427 Mendocino Ave in downtown Santa Rosa, inside the coLab workspace (old Press Democrat building).
Parking in the coLab lot on the side of the building is possible for volunteers, using a parking pass we loan for shifts.
