Volunteer Assistant Facilitator – Technical Assistance Support for Healthcare Administration Training

About this opportunity

The goal of this volunteer project is to:

Provide technical assistance and digital access support for the virtual Health Care Administration class that occurs Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30PM

• During class:
  • Monitor classroom chat.
  • Ensure participants are online with the cameras turned on.
  • Help with technical challenges participants may have during class
• Before and after class: Provide 1:1 technical assistance for participants who may require additional tutoring/skills to participate in class

Primary Responsibilities:

• Serve as the classroom moderator for Career Pathways classes.
• Monitor classroom chat and track participant questions and comments.
• Open and close breakout rooms as needed.
• Launch and manage polls during class sessions.
• Share presentations and other class materials in the virtual classroom.
• Assist participants with technical challenges before, during, and after class.
• Ensure participants can successfully access and engage in the virtual learning environment.
• Provide one-on-one technical support and digital skills assistance to participants who need additional help.
• Familiarize yourself with class content and technology platforms as needed to support instructors and participants.
• Support a positive, organized, and engaging virtual classroom experience.

Skills/Qualifications Needed:

• Digital literacy—Word, Zoom (breakout rooms, polls, admitting participants, etc), Google Classroom a plus, computer functions (cameras, audio)
• Typing
• Reliable access to the internet.

REQUIRED: Maintain confidentiality of participant information.

Time Commitment: Weekly, either 1 day or both days, during the duration of the cohort: [9/21/2026]–[11/4/2026]
