Volunteer Opportunity: Exhibition Reception Support (April 24 & 25)

Location: 13334 Wallisville Rd, Houston, TX

The Anderson Center for the Arts is seeking friendly, reliable volunteers to help staff the reception during exhibition hours. This role is essential in welcoming visitors and supporting the daily operations of our gallery.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors and provide a warm welcome
• Answer basic questions about the exhibition and space
• Monitor the reception area and assist with light administrative tasks
• Track visitor attendance as needed

Exhibition Hours (Volunteer Shifts):

• Friday: 3-6 PM / 6-9 PM
• Saturday: 4-8 PM / 7-10 PM

You do not need to commit to both days — please let us know which days and times you are available.

• Calm, art-centered environment
• Opportunity to engage with artists, community members, and visitors
• Confirmed volunteers will receive a calendar invite with shift details
