The Hip Hop 5K is more than just a run.

It’s a run for the creatives.

A run for the songwriters, producers, DJs, artists, and visionaries who help shape the soundtrack of our lives.

Through the Hip Hop 5K, we’re bringing together music, wellness, and community to support the mission of Protect The Creatives — helping emerging artists protect their music, understand publishing, and build sustainable careers.

This event isn’t just about crossing a finish line.

It’s about protecting the future of creativity.

⏰ Volunteer Shift:

Approximately 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM

We are currently looking for volunteers who are available to support the full event shift if possible.

Volunteer roles may include:

🏁 Race Check-In & Registration

💧 Water Stations

🚧 Course Marshals

🔥 Hype Crew

📸 Photo & Video Team

🎤 Start / Finish Line Support

🧇 Brunch Activation Assistance

🏅 Medal Distribution

🛠 Event Setup & Breakdown

🧹 General Cleanup

Volunteer Perks Include:

🎟 Entry into our Skechers Volunteer Raffle

Winners may select a pair of Skechers performance shoes including the Aero Burst, Aero Spark, or Razor models.

Parking is free on-site.

Volunteer attire should be clean, comfortable, and event appropriate:

• Black, khaki, or dark blue jeans/pants preferred
• Shorts/skirts should be mid-thigh length or longer
• Solid black or solid white shirts preferred when possible
