Twiddle Muff & Fidget Blanket Volunteers Needed

Do you enjoy crafting, sewing, knitting, crocheting, or simply making a difference? We are seeking volunteers to create Twiddle Muffs or Fidget Blankets for individuals living with dementia and cognitive impairment.

Twiddle muffs and fidget blankets provide sensory stimulation, comfort, and engagement for people experiencing memory loss, anxiety, or restlessness. Volunteers can create these items at home on their own schedule using a variety of textures, colors, ribbons, buttons, and other sensory materials.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Create twiddle muffs or fidget blankets
• Donate completed items for distribution to individuals in our care
• Help bring comfort and joy to vulnerable community members

No direct patient contact is required. This is a flexible volunteer opportunity perfect for individuals, groups, scout troops, schools, faith communities, and crafting clubs.
