Meal Delivery Drivers Wanted! (Long Branch, NJ)

Share My Meals is looking for volunteers to pick up bulk meal donations from Monmouth University on Fridays at 2:30pm and deliver them to Second Baptist Church Long Branch (approximately a 10-minute drive).

Volunteers will use the Share My Meals smartphone app to easily track their donation pickup and delivery from start to finish, including recording meal donation quantities. The app helps Share My Meals ensure every donation is safely and efficiently transported while maintaining accurate records for food safety compliance.

Share My Meals provides all necessary food-safety equipment, including insulated bags, so volunteers can transport the meals safely. Volunteers are asked to complete Share My Meals onboarding and app and food safety training before volunteering. All you need is your smartphone, a car, and a willingness to help!

Volunteer Requirements:

• Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.
• Volunteers must have a valid driver’s license.
• Volunteers must provide their own transportation and have the necessary auto insurance (minimum of $300,000 Single Limit or $100,000/$300,000 Split Limit auto liability limits).
• Volunteers must have a smartphone with the ability to download our food donation tracking app.
• Volunteers must be able to lift ~30lbs.

There is no required long-term commitment—volunteers can sign up for shifts based on their availability. However, this opportunity is intended for volunteers who are interested in helping on an ongoing or recurring basis, rather than those looking for a one-time volunteer experience.
