    Volunteer Executive Assistant to the Founder & National President

    The People's Chamber of Commerce is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and motivated Volunteer Executive Assistant to provide direct support to the Founder & National President. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to gain executive level experience while helping grow a national nonprofit business organization dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs, businesses, and nonprofit organizations across the United States.

    As the Volunteer Executive Assistant, you will serve as a trusted administrative partner, helping manage daily operations, coordinate communications, organize meetings, and support strategic initiatives. You will play an important role in helping the organization remain efficient, responsive, and focused on its mission.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the Founder & National President's calendar, appointments, and meeting schedule
    • Coordinate virtual and in person meetings
    • Draft professional correspondence, emails, letters, and meeting materials
    • Prepare agendas, record meeting notes, and track follow up items
    • Assist with Board and committee meeting coordination
    • Respond to member, partner, sponsor, and investor communications
    • Help organize networking events, conferences, webinars, and special initiatives
    • Maintain organized digital files, records, and administrative documents
    • Track projects, deadlines, and executive priorities
    • Conduct research and prepare reports as needed
    • Assist with additional executive projects that support the organization's growth

    Qualifications

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Professionalism, integrity, and discretion with confidential information
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
    • Strong attention to detail and follow through
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, or similar business software
    • Administrative or executive assistant experience is preferred but not required
    • Passion for supporting entrepreneurship, nonprofit organizations, and community development
