Phoenix is a 4 Star We Honor Veteran (WHV) Hospice and we're looking for veterans willing to support their fellow veterans!
The WHV program includes the Veteran-to-Veteran program that focuses on matching veteran volunteers with veteran hospice patients.
· Veteran volunteers make visits to veteran patients and facilitate conversations with them (e.g., reminiscing).
· Veteran volunteers may participate in pinning ceremonies, acts of appreciation and recognition.
