Descripción
Empowering Strides is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our volunteer Board of Directors and bring clinical, accessibility, and neurodiversity-informed perspective to our organization’s leadership. This is a governance and advisory role, not a clinical treatment position.
Empowering Strides’ mission is to empower neurodivergent individuals with emotional, behavioral and/or cognitive challenges through equine assisted services to improve social/emotional interaction and helping to build a deeper sense of self awareness. While riding and learning to care for the program horses, we instill confidence, responsibility, and self-worth in our students. We create a positive and impactful setting using animals that enriches each rider’s life.
