Descripción
The International Refugee Rights Association (IRRA) works to protect the rights of refugees and migrants while raising public awareness. The Volunteer Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for those interested in human rights and refugee law to gain valuable experience and contribute meaningfully.
- Duration: 3 months
- Period: October 1 - December 31, 2025
- Total Hours: 192 hours
- Type: Volunteer / Unpaid (no salary or stipend provided)
- Certificate: A Certificate of Participation will be awarded at the end of the program.
- Obligation: Not a mandatory internship, but participants will be evaluated.
- Experience: Volunteers will be involved in both fieldwork and office activities.
- Assignment: Final project/report submission required at the end of the term.
- Support IRRA’s protection, legal aid, advocacy, and research activities,
- Actively participate in projects and events,
- Engage in field observations and micro tasks related to refugees and migrants,
- Receive orientation and training on human rights, refugee law, and advocacy,
- Gain NGO experience in reporting and project processes,
- Obtain a certificate and the opportunity to continue as a permanent volunteer.
- Students or graduates of human rights, law, international relations, political science, sociology, psychology, social work, communications, or related fields,
- Individuals interested in refugee and human rights issues,
- Able to commit at least 2 days per week,
- Team-oriented with basic computer skills,
- Available for both in-person and remote participation.
