    Description

    IRRA Volunteer Internship Program - Fall 2025

    The International Refugee Rights Association (IRRA) works to protect the rights of refugees and migrants while raising public awareness. The Volunteer Internship Program offers a unique opportunity for those interested in human rights and refugee law to gain valuable experience and contribute meaningfully.

    • Duration: 3 months
    • Period: October 1 - December 31, 2025
    • Total Hours: 192 hours
    • Type: Volunteer / Unpaid (no salary or stipend provided)
    • Certificate: A Certificate of Participation will be awarded at the end of the program.
    • Obligation: Not a mandatory internship, but participants will be evaluated.
    • Experience: Volunteers will be involved in both fieldwork and office activities.
    • Assignment: Final project/report submission required at the end of the term.
    Volunteer Tasks and Outcomes
    • Support IRRA’s protection, legal aid, advocacy, and research activities,
    • Actively participate in projects and events,
    • Engage in field observations and micro tasks related to refugees and migrants,
    • Receive orientation and training on human rights, refugee law, and advocacy,
    • Gain NGO experience in reporting and project processes,
    • Obtain a certificate and the opportunity to continue as a permanent volunteer.
    Who Can Apply?
    • Students or graduates of human rights, law, international relations, political science, sociology, psychology, social work, communications, or related fields,
    • Individuals interested in refugee and human rights issues,
    • Able to commit at least 2 days per week,
    • Team-oriented with basic computer skills,
    • Available for both in-person and remote participation.
