Volunteer Recruiter

Work Location: Off-Site in the Metro Nashville Area

Purpose of the Position

The Volunteer Recruiter assists in recruiting groups and individuals volunteers to help fill the needs of the Project C.U.R.E. Team

Responsibilities and Duties

• Represent Project C.U.R.E. at volunteer fairs and events
• Perform online research to identify groups that will help meet volunteer gaps
• Reach out to organizations about volunteering with Project C.U.R.E. via e-mail or phone
• Reach out to and follow up with Volunteer Organizational Chart Leads with phone calls and emails.
• Present to prospective volunteers
• Connect prospective volunteers to the appropriate person within the organization
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Report any injuries, accidents or potentially hazardous situations immediately to the supervisor. If a direct supervisor is not immediately available, report to any Project C.U.R.E. staff member.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of computer and email technology.
• Experience in sales or cold-calling is preferred
• Strong public speaking skills

Commitment Expected

4-6 hours/ week
