Motivated Project Manager & HR Professional
Volunteer Leadership Opportunity with Potential for Future Paid Employment
Confronting Domestic Violence, Inc. (C.D.V.) is seeking a highly motivated, organized, and entrepreneurial Project Manager & HR Professional to help launch and grow The Unified Blueprint: Confronting Domestic Violence & Legal Abuse, a professional HR resource addressing the intersection of domestic violence, workplace safety, legal abuse, and organizational responsibility.
This is more than a volunteer coordinator role. You will help build the infrastructure, partnerships, market presence, and business-development pipeline that take the Blueprint from concept to a scalable professional resource.
We are looking for a “make-it-happen” person who can keep people moving, build relationships, manage details, identify opportunities, and turn strategy into measurable results.
What You’ll Do
Lead the Project & Launch
- Develop and maintain the launch calendar, milestones, and master checklist using Monday Board
- Coordinate volunteers, reviewers, and subject-matter experts
- Manage quality-review processes
- Plan, delegate, schedule, and oversee webinars, presentations, launch events, and promotional campaigns
- Establish objectives, KPIs, and reporting systems (we have templates)
- Provide regular progress updates to C.D.V. leadership
- Develop repeatable systems for future launches and editions
Build the HR Market & Partnership Pipeline
Research and cultivate relationships with (or train & oversee a committee):
- HR associations and SHRM chapters
- HRCI-related opportunities
- Chambers of commerce and employer groups
- Security, legal, and risk-management organizations
- Healthcare, manufacturing, faith-based, government, and public-sector organizations
- Small and midsize businesses
Help develop opportunities for organizations to purchase Playbooks, sponsor copies, host presentations or webinars, engage C.D.V. for training, or develop long-term partnerships.
Develop Business & Sales Opportunities
- Build targeted prospect lists
- Conduct professional outreach to HR and organizational decision-makers
- Introduce the Blueprint and its value proposition
- Schedule discovery conversations
- Track prospects from conversation → meeting → partnership → purchase
- Identify bulk purchase, sponsorship, training, and consulting opportunities
- Maintain an organized sales and partnership pipeline
- Coordinate qualified leads and sales handoffs with C.D.V. leadership
Coordinate Marketing & Customer Engagement
Work with volunteers supporting:
- LinkedIn and email campaigns
- Educational videos and webinars
- Infographics, testimonials, and case studies
- Playbook previews and professional content
- Partner promotional materials
- Customer communications and follow-up
- Feedback collection and community engagement
The goal is simple:
Get HR professionals to see it, understand it, want it, and share it.
Support Research & Quality
Help maintain the professional credibility and relevance of the Blueprint by monitoring workplace violence prevention developments, regulatory changes, authoritative HR resources, and emerging workplace issues.
Help maintain a “What Changed?” Tracker so future editions can be reviewed and updated appropriately.
Who We're Looking For
This opportunity is ideal for someone with experience or interest in:
Project Management | Human Resources | Business Development | Sales | Partnerships | Marketing | Workplace Safety | Risk Management | Nonprofit Leadership
You do not need to check every box.
We especially want someone who is self-directed, resourceful, professional, curious, highly organized, comfortable initiating conversations, and committed to getting things done.
If you see a problem and immediately think, “Okay, how do we fix this?”, we want to hear from you.
Leadership Opportunity
You will help coordinate a growing volunteer team supporting marketing, customer experience, research, sales administration, partnership development, and business development. (We have a pool of support also)
This is an opportunity to help shape the systems, relationships, workflows, and growth strategy behind a new professional initiative.
What Success Looks Like
- Blueprint launched on schedule
- Repeatable launch and sales processes established
- Qualified HR prospects generated
- Strategic partnerships developed
- Playbook purchases and sponsorships increased
- Training and consulting opportunities identified
- Customer feedback incorporated
- Activities and results consistently measured
Why This Matters
Domestic violence does not stay neatly contained outside the workplace.
HR professionals can find themselves navigating employee safety, workplace violence prevention, legal concerns, documentation, organizational responsibility, and the human realities of abuse.
The Unified Blueprint is designed to help close those gaps and move organizations from compliance on paper to prevention in practice.
Potential for Future Paid Employment
This is initially a volunteer leadership opportunity, with the potential to develop into a paid position as the initiative grows and funding, revenue, and organizational capacity permit.
You aren't just filling a volunteer seat. You're helping build the seat.
