This role is designed to be flexible. Visits typically last about 1 hour, and scheduling is arranged around your availability. Even occasional visits can make a meaningful difference. We ask for six months commitment if possible.

Do you have a gentle, well-behaved pet who brings joy wherever they go? We are seeking compassionate Pet Therapy Volunteers to support hospice patients and families by providing comfort, companionship, and moments of peace during a very meaningful time.
What You鈥檒l Do:
- Visit hospice patients with your certified therapy pet
- Provide emotional comfort, calm, and connection
- Offer gentle interaction that can reduce anxiety and bring joy
- Support patients, families, and care teams through presence and kindness
Who We鈥檙e Looking For:
- Volunteers age 18+
- Calm, friendly, and well-mannered pets (dogs most common)
- Pet therapy certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable, compassionate individuals with a heart for service
- Ability to respect patient privacy and hospice care principles

- Pet therapy certification
