About Black Cat Rescue
Black Cat Rescue is a volunteer-run nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and rehoming cats who are often overlooked in shelters—especially black cats, seniors, and those with medical or behavioral needs. We rely on community support, storytelling, and creative outreach to connect cats with loving homes and sustain our rescue efforts.
Position Overview
Black Cat Rescue is seeking a volunteer Marketing Communication Strategist to help guide our overall messaging and content strategy across digital channels, internally and externally. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys thinking about the big picture of communications: how stories are told, how audiences engage, and how different platforms work together.
The Marketing Strategist will help oversee our content calendar and messaging across social media, email, and our website, ensuring that communications are consistent, compelling, and aligned with our mission. This role may also help launch new content channels, such as a blog or supporter platforms, while managing some internal team communications.
