Thrift Store Volunteer

Caws Four Paws is looking for friendly and reliable volunteers who can commit to a 4 hour shift on a regular basis in the mornings (10:30 am - 2:30 pm) or afternoons (1 pm - 5 pm).

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers and donors with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Sort, inspect, and organize donations (clothing, housewares, books, etc.).
• Tag, fold, and arrange items according to store guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized sales floor and backroom.
• Support Caws Four Paws’ mission by educating customers about how sales support animal welfare.
• Represent Caws Four Paws positively in the community.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 14 years old (with parent/guardian consent and school approval).
• Friendly, reliable, and willing to learn.
• Able to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Comfortable standing, bending, or lifting light items (up to ~25 lbs).
• No retail experience required — training provided.
