Ceremonies are typically small and meaningful—often held right in the patient’s room with family, a service member or fellow Veteran, and hospice staff present. Occasionally, they may take place in a facility’s common area with a small group gathered to honor the Veteran.
Much of the coordination can be done from home if you prefer, though you’re always welcome in the office. Because we never know how many Veterans will need a pinning, this role can vary—some weeks may be busy, while others are quieter.
We’re looking for someone flexible, organized, and able to work independently. This role requires comfort with phone communication to coordinate details, strong attention to tasks, and a respectful, compassionate approach to serving Veterans and individuals from all backgrounds.
