Volunteer Opportunity – Weekly Food Rescue (Thursdays, 1:30 PM)
Share My Meals is seeking volunteers to help recover surplus produce and prepared meals and deliver them to those in need. Each Thursday at 1:30 PM, volunteers pick up meals from a professional kitchen in Neptune and deliver them to a nonprofit in Red Bank (~20-minute drive), including a quick stop to collect empty containers from the nonprofit before pickup.
Volunteers must be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, a personal vehicle with insurance, and a smartphone for the tracking app. Volunteers should be comfortable lifting 20-30lbs.
Training and insulated bags are provided.
