Photographer / Videographer

Are you a photographer or videographer with a passion for storytelling? Progressive Employment Concepts (PEC) is looking for two volunteers-a photographer and/or videographer-to help us capture the energy, joy, and community spirit of our upcoming fundraising event on Saturday, October 11th.

This is a one-day volunteer opportunity, perfect for creative professionals or students looking to build their portfolio while supporting a mission-driven nonprofit. The event will take place at Drake’s: The Barn, a family-friendly venue in Sacramento, and will feature games, food, and community fun-all in celebration of inclusive employment and economic empowerment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Photographer: Someone to capture candid and posed shots of the event, including attendees, activities, volunteers, and special moments throughout the day.
• Videographer: Someone to capture footage throughout the event and-if available and interested-support us afterward by creating a short edited video we can use to thank donors and promote future events.

Ideal Skills:

• Experience with event photography and/or videography

• Own equipment preferred (camera, mic, etc.)

• Ability to work independently in a busy environment

• Comfort interacting with a diverse range of people and settings

Bonus if You Can Offer:

• Light editing of photos or video post-event

• A passion for storytelling or community impact
