Since April 1, 2020, Cuso International has been implementing an ambitious and structuring international cooperation project in Cameroon, aimed at promoting gender equality, empowering women and girls, and positioning volunteering as a key driver of sustainable development. Within this framework, Cuso collaborates with the MINEFOP (Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training), the national institution responsible for employment policy, vocational training, and the integration of workers into the labor market.
As a Volunteer Technical and Vocational Training Advisor (TVET), you will support the Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training (MINEFOP) in strengthening its capacities to develop sustainable socio-economic integration opportunities, particularly in the agribusiness, agriculture and livestock, and information and communication technology (ICT) sectors. Working closely with technical and institutional stakeholders, you will contribute to the implementation of pilot training programs, the documentation of results, and the sharing of lessons learned, thereby contributing to improving the quality and relevance of vocational training pathways in Cameroon.
The volunteer will be required to carry out the following activities:
- Analysis and identification of training needs in one or two priority targeted sectors (e.g. agri-business/agro-livestock or ICT)
- Design and adaptation of short, practical TVET training modules
- Support for the implementation and monitoring of pilot training programs
- Capitalization and continuous improvement of the TVET system
Essential academic skills:
- University degree in: Educational Sciences, Training Engineering, Vocational Training or Skills Development
Essential professional skills:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in:
- Design of training programs
- Curriculum development
- Support for vocational training schemes

Volunteer Support and Requirements
Support Package
Cuso International provides a comprehensive support package to ensure volunteers maintain a modest and healthy lifestyle aligned with local standards. This includes:
