Baystate Organic Certifiers is seeking dedicated volunteers to serve on our Board of Directors and help advance our mission of providing trustworthy, affordable organic certification services throughout the Northeast and beyond.

We are a USDA-accredited nonprofit that certifies crops, livestock, and handling operations to national organic standards. Our certification services support a transparent, resilient food system rooted in environmental stewardship and trust.

Desired Skills & Experience

We are especially interested in individuals with experience in:

• Organic agriculture or food processing
• Nonprofit governance or leadership
• Regulatory compliance or legal expertise
• Finance, fundraising, or accounting
• Marketing, outreach, or communications

Board Term & Commitment

• Term Length: 1-2 years, with option to renew
• Meetings: Quarterly
• Time Commitment: 1-2 hours per quarter
