Meals That Matter 2026 is a community fundraising effort focused on providing 50,000 hot, nutritious meals to individuals and families across Georgia who are experiencing food insecurity. The goal of the campaign is to raise $465,000 to cover the full cost of preparing, delivering, and safely distributing these meals.
We are inviting Ambassador volunteers to support this effort by raising funds through their personal networks, including friends, family, colleagues, and others they already know.
Each Ambassador begins with a personal contribution of $100 as a shared commitment to the work. From there, they choose a fundraising goal that reflects their network and capacity. Ambassadors are trusted to determine how they want to reach out and engage others. There are no required events, scripts, or prescribed methods.
Ambassador levels include a $1,000 Community goal, a $3,000 Core goal, an $8,000 Leadership goal, and a $15,000 Champion goal.
Each Ambassador is responsible for reaching the goal they choose and is expected to take ownership of their fundraising process.
This opportunity is best suited for people who care about food insecurity in Georgia, feel comfortable engaging their personal networks in support of a cause, and prefer to work independently.
Meals That Matter 2026 is ultimately about turning personal relationships into direct support for people who need access to meals.
Selected applicants will be contacted with next steps and onboarding details. No additional documents are required at this stage. If selected, Ambassadors will confirm their fundraising level and make the required $100 personal contribution to join the campaign.
