Girl Engineer is a youth-led nonprofit organisation registered under Trustees Incorporation Act. We are committed to creating opportunities for girls and young women through STEM education, digital skills, climate action, leadership and community-based development.
As we strengthen our organisational capacity and expand our network of partners and supporters, we are seeking an experienced professional to serve as Digital Fundraising Manager
Purpose of the Role
The Digital Fundraising Manager will lead the organisation's online fundraising strategy, using digital platforms, Global giving, email campaigns, crowdfunding and online donor engagement to increase visibility, generate resources and build a sustainable international donor base.
Report to: Director of Grant and Partnership Development
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Girl Engineer Organisation's digital fundraising strategy.
- Identify and recommend suitable online fundraising and crowdfunding platforms.
- Design and manage online fundraising campaigns.
- Develop compelling fundraising messages, donor appeals and campaign content.
- Support fundraising through platforms such as GlobalGiving and other relevant digital giving platforms.
- Develop and manage email fundraising campaigns and donor communications.
- Use social media strategically to generate donations and supporter engagement.
- Research potential individual donors, online giving opportunities and digital fundraising networks.
- Monitor digital fundraising performance, including donations, conversion rates, engagement and campaign reach.
- Work closely with the Director of Grants & Partnership Development to align digital fundraising with the organisation's overall resource mobilisation strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree or relevant professional experience in fundraising, marketing, communications, business, development studies, international development or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in digital fundraising, fundraising, digital marketing, communications, development or a related area.
- Demonstrated understanding of online fundraising and donor engagement.
- Experience with crowdfunding or digital giving platforms is highly desirable.

Location
Remote – United States, Canada, Norway, UK,Australia and other countries are welcome.
