Position: Grant Writing & Research Intern
Organization: Project C.U.R.E.
Location: Remote/Hybrid
Position Type: Internship (Unpaid/College Credits – if applicable)
Time Commitment: 5 - 10hrs week

Project C.U.R.E. is the world’s largest distributor of donated medical relief, delivering life-saving medical supplies and equipment to hospitals and clinics in under-resourced communities across more than 135 countries. We bridge the gap between surplus in the U.S. and desperate need abroad.
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, driven, and passionate Grant Writing & Research Intern to join our development team. This role is highly collaborative and offers hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising, international development, and global health. You will play a vital role in identifying new funding streams, drafting compelling proposals, and helping secure the resources needed to deliver medical supplies worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Grant Research: Identify, vet, and track foundation, corporate, and government grant opportunities that align with Project C.U.R.E.’s global mission.
- Proposal Writing: Draft proposals and letters of inquiry (LOIs) to support international humanitarian services and a grant revenue goal of over $1M annually.
- Database Management: Maintain and update the grants calendar and donor database (CRM) to ensure deadlines, submissions, and reporting requirements are tracked accurately.
Qualifications
- Excellent written communication, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Strong research capabilities with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, persuasive arguments.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, International Relations, Public Health, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; experience with grant search engines (e.g., Grant Watch) is a plus.
- A strong commitment to global health equity and humanitarian aid.
