Fall Event Weekend 2026

Calling all New Yorkers! We have 4 volunteer event opportunities throughout the weekend with The Hunger Project — and each one has room for many volunteers. We encourage you to review the details for all volunteer opportunities below and select the one (or ones) that work best for you.

Volunteers will help bring our Fall Event weekend to life by supporting everything from setup and cleanup to ensuring each event runs smoothly and beautifully for our guests. Responsibilities may include welcoming and checking in guests, serving as microphone runners, supporting engagement activities, maintaining food and beverage areas, assisting with décor, and helping wherever needed. We simply ask that volunteers come ready to be flexible, jump in, and work together to create a warm and memorable experience for everyone.

All volunteers must sign up through Sign Up Genius. All volunteers must be 17+, based in NYC, able to lift 20lbs, stand for long period of time, and required to attend brief pre-volunteer kick off call(s) with the Volunteer Coordinator to review responsibilities, logistics, and what to expect.

Please note that this is an unpaid volunteer opportunity, and volunteers must be located in or able to travel to New York City at their own expense, as travel and transportation costs will not be reimbursed.
