Position Overview

Join the Autism Today Foundation as a Volunteer Blogger Assistant and help us share powerful stories that inspire awareness, inclusion, and empowerment for individuals with autism and their families. As a Blogger, you will create engaging and thoughtful written content for our online platforms, including articles for our websites and newsletter.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and write original blog posts on topics related to autism awareness, education, inclusion, volunteerism, and community impact.
• Optimize blog content for SEO, do keyword research, align with search intent, write SEO friendly titles and meta descriptions, structure posts with clear headings, add internal links, craft clean slugs, and include image alt text.
• Track performance in basic analytics or Search Console, recommend updates that improve rankings and click through.
• Collaborate with the marketing to align with organizational messaging.
• Edit and proofread content for clarity, tone, and grammar.

What We’re Looking For

• Understand SEO for blogs, including keyword research and search intent.
• Can read basic analytics, for example Google Analytics or Search Console, and turn insights into content updates.
• Have strong writing and editing skills.
• Have prior blogging or content creation experience.
