Our Operations team does incredibly hard work to ensure the Mobile Vision Clinics go out 3-5 days a week to put glasses on kids faces. Having another set of hands around when the vehicles return at the end of the day is extra helpful with resetting the Clinics for the next day. Volunteer tasks include restocking program supplies (e.g. glasses cases), maintaining the cleanliness of the Clinics, and other tasks to support Operations as needed. Shifts are typically from 2-4pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and take place at our warehouse in Maryland Heights.
