Build an Elephant Education Center in Namibia – Volunteer for Conservation

Join us in northwestern Namibia to help build the Kunene Elephant Education Center, a unique community-based project focused on reducing human–elephant conflict and protecting desert-adapted elephants.
Volunteers commit for at least 2–4 weeks, supporting construction alongside local teams. Work 8 hours daily. Basic camp accommodation provided. Physically active role in a remote setting. Free time allows exploring and spotting desert elephants and lions.

¿Cómo llegar?
The project is located in the remote Kunene region in northwestern Namibia. Volunteers should travel to Windhoek (Hosea Kutako International Airport). From there, we will provide detailed travel instructions and help organize transport to the project site. Due to the remote location, final access is by 4x4 vehicle.

Please tell us briefly about your motivation, relevant experience, and your preferred dates. No specific skills are required, but practical mindset, teamwork, and adaptability are important. Experience in construction, community work, or conservation is a plus but not essential.
Be prepared for basic living conditions in a remote environment and for physically active work outdoors. We are looking for motivated individuals who are open to new experiences and willing to contribute to a meaningful conservation project.
