    In the Meantime, a 4-person recovery residence for all-female occupancy is seeking a Live-in- Recovery Residence Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the residence and to assist those seeking to achieve lasting sobriety and wellness. Our residence offers a supportive community where residents receive resources and encouragement on their journey toward long-term recovery.

    Job Description: As a live-in- Recovery Residence Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residence. Your responsibilities will include:

      • Leadership and Supervision: Providing leadership to a dedicated team of staff members and volunteers, ensuring a supportive and nurturing environment for residents.
      • Resident Support: Offering guidance and support to residents as they navigate their recovery journey, promoting a safe and therapeutic atmosphere.
      • Facility Management: Overseeing the maintenance of the residence, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and adherence to organizational standards.
      • Program Coordination: Collaborating with Certified Peer Support Specialists and healthcare professionals to implement individualized recovery plans and activities.
      • Community Engagement: Building positive relationships with residents, their families, and community stakeholders to foster a supportive network.
      • Emergency Coverage: As part of our commitment to resident support, emergency availability is required.

    Qualifications:

      • A high school diploma/GED preferred.
      • Knowledge of substance use disorder, recovery principles, and best practices.
      • At least 2 years of sustained recovery from substance use disorder
      • Some experience in residential management, preferably in a recovery setting, is preferred.
      • Peer support certification is required and must be completed within the first six months of employment. Training will be provided and compensated by In the Meantime.
      • Basic First Aid, Personal Safety, and drug testing procedures proficiency is required within the first six months of employment. Training will be provided and compensated by In the Meantime.
      • Strong leadership and organizational skills with a passion for helping others.
      • Basic computer and keyboarding skills preferred. (Microsoft Word, Excel)
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and become knowledgeable of community resources.
