Join us this December for Jingle for Jamaica - One Love, a joyful celebration of unity, culture, and community impact.
The Gift Empowerment Circle invites volunteers to support an unforgettable evening of fundraising, fashion, entertainment, and live performances, all dedicated to providing essential relief to families and communities in Jamaica. With a fundraising goal of $15,000, your support helps deliver vital resources, supplies, and hope to those who need it most.
Every volunteer plays a direct role in making a real difference while uplifting the vibrant spirit of Jamaica during the holidays.

Date: Sunday, December 21, 2025
Time: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Volunteer shifts begin at 1:00 PM)
Location: Grand Events Ballroom – Houston, Texas
🙌 Volunteer Roles Needed
We are seeking passionate, reliable volunteers to support the following areas:
- Event Setup & Décor Team
- Check-in & Registration Team
- Guest Services / Ushers
- VIP Hospitality Support
- Backstage / Fashion Show Support
- Runway Program Assistants
- Donation Engagement Team
- Media & Social Media Support
- Event Breakdown & Clean-Up Crew
Whether you are interested in hospitality, fashion, logistics, community work, or event production, there is a role for you!

👗 Dress Code for Volunteers
Attire honoring Jamaica is encouraged!
Wear the colors of the Jamaican flag: black, green, and gold/yellow 🇯🇲
Comfortable but polished attire is recommended.

Since 2018, we have hosted The Gift Fashion Show, combining fashion, entertainment, and philanthropy. Our mission is to empower communities by providing resources, support, and hope both locally and abroad.

To join our volunteer team, please follow the steps below:
1️⃣ Complete the Volunteer Registration Form
All volunteers must register so we can assign roles and communicate event details.
2️⃣ Select Your Preferred Volunteer Role
When registering please choose one or more roles, such as:
- Check-In & Registration
- Guest Services / Ushers
- Fashion Show & Backstage Support
- Setup & Breakdown
- Hospitality / Welcome Beverage
- Media & Social Content
- We will do our best to match you with your preferred area.
3️⃣ Attend the Mandatory Volunteer Orientation
All volunteers must attend a short virtual or in-person orientation to receive:
- Your role assignment
- Timeline and arrival instructions
- Dress code details
- Venue map
- Safety procedures
- You will receive orientation date options after you register.
4️⃣ Arrive On Time on Event Day
Volunteers should arrive 1:00 PM on Sunday, December 21, 2025, unless otherwise instructed.
Important reminders:
- Check in at the Volunteer Table
- Wear black, green, or gold/yellow (Jamaica-inspired)
- Bring comfortable shoes
- Stay for your full assigned shift
5️⃣ Represent The Gift Empowerment Circle with Professionalism & Joy
As a volunteer, you will play a vital role in:
- Creating a welcoming guest experience
- Supporting models, performers, VIPs, and families
- Helping us raise funds for Jamaica relief efforts
- Please bring positive energy, teamwork, and respect for all guests and participants.
6️⃣ Stay Until the End if Assigned to Breakdown
If you are assigned to the clean-up team, you will help:
- Clear guest seating
- Pack materials
- Restore the venue
- Breakdown typically lasts 45–60 minutes.
