Animal Care & Enrichment Volunteer (Local)

Description:

Kindred Tails Sanctuary provides a safe, loving environment for stray and abandoned cats in Screven County, Georgia. We’re seeking local volunteers to assist with daily feeding, kennel cleaning, and enrichment activities.

This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who wants to make a direct impact in animal care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily food and water distribution
• Clean kennels, litter boxes, and feeding stations
• Provide playtime and enrichment for cats and kittens
• Observe animal behavior and report issues to the care team

Requirements:

• Must be local to Screven County (or able to travel to Newington, GA)
• Comfortable working around cats and performing physical tasks
• Reliable, compassionate, and ready to get a little dirty in a good way!
• Minimum age 16 (or 14+ with a parent/guardian present)
