The Patient Care Volunteer is to provide friendly visits to hospice patients in whatever setting they call home.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide friendly visits, offering emotional support, companionship and supportive listening.
Provide respite support to family members and/or caregivers.
Run errands for hospice patients or family caregivers.
Provide companionship, play music or games, light housekeeping in a religiously and culturally diverse environment.
Document all visits in a timely manner.
Communicate any concerns to hospice staff and Volunteer Coordinator.
