Volunteer United/AmeriCorps Seniors recruits volunteers for non-profit agencies in Martin County, matching volunteer interests and skills to create a meaningful, rewarding volunteer experience.

The mission of this agency is partnership with Martin County residents, is to cultivate programs, parks and services that improve quality of life, preserve natural resources and, satisfy the community needs for recreation, fitness and leisure.

Volunteers are needed for the 34th Annual Senior Games. Held at various locations around Martin County, Senior Games is an annual sporting event open to person ages 50 and up from all over Florida. The Games, including pickleball, tennis, swimming, table tennis, basketball shooting, bowling, track & field, and golf, serve as a sanctioned qualifier for the Florida Senior Games State Championships. The event promotes physical and social wellness and encourages the senior community to get active and stay fit for life.

Setup/Break Down Crew - must be able to lift 25 pounds.

Must be able to stand for 5 hours.
