The division is responsible for helping people discover, understand, support, and engage with Mentor A Promise through strategic storytelling, campaigns, digital engagement, community outreach, and brand experiences.
Role Overview
The Senior Director of Marketing & Campaigns serves as MAP's senior leader responsible for marketing strategy, audience growth, campaign development, public awareness initiatives, and engagement efforts across the organization.
This role oversees the planning, execution, and performance of integrated marketing campaigns designed to increase visibility, strengthen community support, drive volunteer recruitment, support fundraising efforts, promote programs, and expand organizational impact.
Working closely with PromiseStudios, PromiseVoice, PromisePublic, PromiseFinance, PromiseRise, PromiseProducts, and Executive Leadership, the Senior Director helps ensure that MAP's message reaches the right audiences at the right time through the right channels.
The Senior Director transforms mission into movement by building campaigns that inspire awareness, action, advocacy, and support.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Growth
- Develop and lead MAP's comprehensive marketing strategy
- Establish annual marketing goals, objectives, and performance measures
- Build audience growth strategies across multiple channels
- Identify opportunities to strengthen awareness and engagement
- Align marketing efforts with organizational priorities and impact goals
Campaign Leadership
- Oversee development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns
- Lead awareness, fundraising, volunteer recruitment, program promotion, advocacy, and community engagement campaigns
- Develop campaign strategies that connect storytelling with measurable outcomes
- Ensure campaigns remain audience-centered and mission-driven
- Evaluate campaign effectiveness and optimize performance
Audience Development & Engagement
- Expand awareness among families, volunteers, donors, schools, community partners, and supporters
- Develop audience segmentation and engagement strategies
- Strengthen supporter acquisition, retention, and engagement
- Build long-term audience growth initiatives
- Support community-building and relationship development efforts
Digital Marketing & Communications
- Support digital marketing strategy across web, email, social media, content marketing, and emerging channels
- Strengthen MAP's online presence and discoverability
- Monitor audience behavior and engagement trends
- Support integrated communications planning
- Promote data-informed marketing decision-making
Fundraising & Mission Campaigns
- Partner with PromiseFinance and development leaders on fundraising campaigns
- Support annual giving, seasonal campaigns, special initiatives, and donor engagement efforts
- Develop mission-centered marketing strategies that drive support and participation
- Strengthen storytelling and impact communications
Analytics & Performance Management
- Establish marketing performance metrics and reporting frameworks
- Monitor campaign effectiveness, engagement, and audience growth
- Analyze trends and identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop recommendations for future marketing initiatives
- Promote continuous learning and optimization
Cross-Divisional Leadership
- Collaborate with PromiseStudios on content and storytelling initiatives
- Partner with PromiseVoice on communications and journalism efforts
- Support PromisePublic advocacy and awareness campaigns
- Work closely with PromiseProducts and social enterprise initiatives
- Align marketing efforts across all MAP divisions
