Ready to be part of something meaningful, exciting, and community-building? The Arthritis Foundation is recruiting passionate and energetic volunteers to join the Carolina Hills Classic Bike Tour Committee—and we’d love to have you on the team!
As a committee member, you’ll help shape one of our signature cycling events while supporting the mission to conquer arthritis. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or simply someone who loves organizing, connecting, and making a real impact, this is a powerful way to get involved.
What Committee Members Do
- Attend monthly online committee meetings
- Raise awareness through community outreach and promotional efforts
- Recruit cycling participants and support them with training, fundraising, and engagement activities (for both in-person and Ride Your Way options)
- Assist with event programming, logistics, volunteer recruitment, and coordination
- Support Foundation staff in growing corporate partnerships (teams, sponsors, in-kind contributions)
- Contribute to social media, graphic design, and communication efforts
- If not riding, help with event-day activities during the in-person tour
- Share and champion the mission of the Arthritis Foundation
Time Commitment
Serve a 1-year renewable term, approximately 2–4 hours a month, with time increasing closer to event day.
