    Description

Join the Carolina Hills Classic Bike Tour Committee!

Ready to be part of something meaningful, exciting, and community-building? The Arthritis Foundation is recruiting passionate and energetic volunteers to join the Carolina Hills Classic Bike Tour Committee—and we’d love to have you on the team!

As a committee member, you’ll help shape one of our signature cycling events while supporting the mission to conquer arthritis. Whether you’re a seasoned cyclist or simply someone who loves organizing, connecting, and making a real impact, this is a powerful way to get involved.

    What Committee Members Do

    • Attend monthly online committee meetings
    • Raise awareness through community outreach and promotional efforts
    • Recruit cycling participants and support them with training, fundraising, and engagement activities (for both in-person and Ride Your Way options)
    • Assist with event programming, logistics, volunteer recruitment, and coordination
    • Support Foundation staff in growing corporate partnerships (teams, sponsors, in-kind contributions)
    • Contribute to social media, graphic design, and communication efforts
    • If not riding, help with event-day activities during the in-person tour
    • Share and champion the mission of the Arthritis Foundation

    Time Commitment

Serve a 1-year renewable term, approximately 2–4 hours a month, with time increasing closer to event day.

    You’d Be a Great Fit If You…

    • Have an interest in cycling (not required!)
    • Enjoy working independently and collaboratively
    • Are organized, proactive, and enjoy leading
    • Are motivated by goals and community impact
    • Can hold others accountable with kindness and clarity
    • Communicate well—both verbally and in writing
    • Are passionate about supporting the Arthritis Foundation’s mission
