Volunteer Opportunity: Softball Convenor (Non-Profit | Faith-Based Organization)

Position Title: Softball Convenor (Volunteer)

Commitment: Duration of the softball season May to August as needed to help with organization - 1 to 2 hours per week

Location: Brampton or Mississauga

Role Overview

The Softball Convenor will play a key role in organizing and overseeing our seasonal softball program. This individual will help create a welcoming, respectful, and faith-centered environment where participants can connect, have fun, and grow in community.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the softball season (schedule, teams, communication)
• Organize team registration and player coordination
• Liaise with players, volunteers, and any facilities as needed
• Ensure games run smoothly and fairly
• Promote a positive, inclusive, and faith-aligned environment
• Help address any issues that arise during the season

• Experience with softball (playing, coaching, or organizing leagues)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Interest in supporting a faith-based, community-driven initiative
• Ability to commit for the full duration of the season
