Builder, Protector or Transformer — Start Here If You Are Not Sure Where You Fit (Remote or Chicago)
Descripción
Descripción
Not sure which opportunity fits you yet? Start with one question: What can you build, who can you protect, or what can you help transform?
What You'll Do
• Tell us what you are good at, what you have access to, and how much time you have
• We will help you find the role, or build one around you
• Bring a talent, a relationship, an experience, a resource, a profession or a voice
• Contribute once, occasionally or every week. All of it counts
Who This Is For
Everyone. There is no wrong background for this role. Students, retirees, professionals, parents, formerly incarcerated individuals, executives, artists, athletes and people who have simply had enough of watching.
Time Commitment
Entirely up to you. Remote or Chicago-based.
Why It Matters
You do not have to do everything. Just choose your role and bring what you already have to the mission.
About Voices of Variety
Voices of Variety (VOV) is a Chicago-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2007 by Jasen Brown. Our work is prevention. We create positive outlets — sports, music, the skilled trades, entrepreneurship, mentorship, adventure and community service — so that violence and crime never get their opening. Every volunteer here is a Builder, a Protector or a Transformer. Bring what you already have.
