The Tutoring Program at Hollywood PAL provides a safe and supportive environment for youth in our community to improve their academic results and ultimately thrive in their education.
Why: Youth with tutors have higher rates of high school graduation and are less likely to drop out of school. By participating, volunteers can gain personal fulfillment through contributions towards community and individuals; Satisfaction in helping someone mature and achieve their academic goals.
Who: Hollywood PAL drives positive change in the community we serve by partnering with LAPD and school-aged youth in programs that celebrate diversity, equity, and inclusion and inspire personal excellence, social awareness, and civic engagement.
