Polycreek is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization building artificial intelligence technology to help protect children online.

Our work focuses on developing tools that help platforms, safety teams, parents, and other organizations better identify and respond to online harms including grooming, child sexual exploitation, sextortion, bullying, and other forms of abuse.

We are a small, technical, mission-driven organization, which means volunteer contributions can have a significant and visible impact.

About the Role

Polycreek is looking for a Volunteer Fundraising & Development Coordinator to help us grow individual and organizational support for our mission.

You do not need to come in with an existing donor list or decades of nonprofit experience. We are looking for someone who understands how nonprofits build relationships with supporters and turn awareness into sustainable financial support.

You will work directly with Polycreek's leadership team to identify potential donors, develop fundraising campaigns, improve donor communications, and help us build a more structured development program.

What You'll Help With

• Identify potential individual, corporate, and philanthropic donors
• Research prospective supporters who align with Polycreek's mission
• Help develop fundraising campaigns and donation appeals
• Draft donor outreach, fundraising emails, and campaign messaging
• Help create strategies for converting supporters into recurring donors
• Identify corporate giving and sponsorship opportunities
• Assist with donor relationship management and follow-up
• Brainstorm creative fundraising campaigns and partnerships
• Help improve Polycreek's overall fundraising and development strategy
• Track outreach and fundraising opportunities

This role has room to grow based on your interests. Someone interested in donor research, fundraising strategy, communications, corporate partnerships, or nonprofit development could all be a strong fit.

Experience in fundraising, development, nonprofit communications, sales, donor relations, marketing, or partnerships is helpful but not required.
