Professional Hospice Volunteers

Hospice volunteers make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and caregivers. Our direct patient volunteers work in the home or at a senior living facility with terminally ill patients and their families throughout Dallas, Collin County and surrounding areas.

Professional Volunteers (must have valid license or certification): Hair stylist; pet therapy; aroma therapy; massage therapy; interpreters, etc.

Other Opportunities:

Patient companionship: Talking, playing games, reading, engaging in hobbies.

Caregiver respite: Sit with a patient for a set period giving a caregiver the opportunity for selfcare and complete needed activities. Other duties may include light household chores, shopping, transportation.

Administrative assistance: Assist with special projects, general office duties and patient outreach.
