Social Media Influencer

This Social Media Influencer and Media Relations role drives brand awareness, manages media relations policies, and leads social media strategy. Key responsibilities include serving as the company spokesperson, collaborating with outreach teams, and resolving escalated operational issues while reporting to the Associate Director.

Role Overview & Requirements

• Reports to: Director Media Relations
• Education: Bachelor's degree required
• Experience: 3+ years of management experience

Key Responsibilities

• Implement strategy: Grow brand awareness and drive inbound traffic to media platforms and webpages.
• Serve as spokesperson: Represent the organization in public and media settings.
• Manage relations: Develop media policies and summarize media activity for senior leaders.
• Collaborate: Work closely with internal marketing and outreach teams. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Leadership & Operations

• Strategic input: Help shape functional strategies and budgets.
• Issue resolution: Fix escalated operational problems across partnerships
• Project management: Keep all social campaigns organized and consistent.

This is a remote/virtual position however, the preferred candidate will live/work in the Chicagoland area.
